Mobile man assaulted, robbed after being asked to look at 'disabled' car

MOBILE, Alabama
Police said 2 men knocked on a man's door Wednesday night and asked him to look at a supposedly disabled car, then assaulted and robbed him.
Spokesman Officer Christopher Levy said the incident took place at a home in the 1600 block of Burdette Road shortly before 8:30 p.m. The 27-year-old victim told police that one of the men hit him on the right side of his forehead and knocked him to the ground, then went through his pockets and took what was in them, Levy said.
The robbers were described as black men, one about 25 and the other about 40. The younger man had light-toned skin and short hair, and was about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He wore a dark green or gray tank top and black pants.
The older man had a dark complexion, low haircut and was about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighed about 220 pounds. He wore a white shirt.
Levy said the men left in what was believed to be a white Mitsubishi Montero Sport.
