Two charged with theft from Phenix City School District

PHENIX CITY, AL.
The Phenix City Police Department investigated a theft and fraud complaint made by the Phenix City Board of Education.
Officials investigated a payroll discrepancy involving Sophie Anne King-Sellers, teacher substitute teacher, and Theressa Sanks, bookkeeper at Meadowlane Elementary School.
During this investigation warrants were issued for both Sellers and Sanks. Both women were arrested for Theft of Property 1^st degree on Thursday.
This case remains under investigation and additional arrests may be pending.
