Four men rob Newson Road apartment residents, fire shotgun into the floor

HUNTSVILLE, Al.
  Four men forced their way into a Newson Road apartment early today and robbed its two residents, firing a shotgun into the floor near one victim's head, Huntsville police said.

The victims told police they were walking into their apartment in the 4100 block of Newson Road when four unknown men approached them from behind, one holding a shotgun. The four robbers went through the victims' pockets and took their property, police said.

As they were leaving, one fired the shotgun into the floor near one victim's head. That victim was treated by HEMSI paramedics for a minor cut to his ear. The other victim was not injured, police said.

No arrests have been made.
