Prattville man arrested on drug charges

PRATTVILLE, Al.

A Prattville man was arrested Monday for unlawfully obtaining prescription medicine. 

According to police, Paul Ashley Smith was arrested for unlawful receipt of controlled substance in reference to prescription medicine.
Prattville Drug Enforcement officers executed a search warrant at 1982 Calumet Parkway, resulting in Smith's arrest. Smith was placed in the Autauga Metro Jail under a $10,000 bond.
Police say the investigation is continuing and other cases will be presented to the next Autauga County Grand Jury.
