Slocomb, Al, woman arrested and charged with Second Degree Theft

Dixie Preston Segrest, white female, 20 years of age, of Slocomb, Alabama was arrested and charged with Second Degree Theft with a $2,500 bond.

On November 14, 2011 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent investigation. Police say a manager for Alter’d, a local retailer, called police with evidence of an internal theft committed by Dixie Segrest, a current employee. The investigation confirmed the managers’ findings and a warrant was signed for Segrest. The case has now been closed following yesterday’s arrest.
