Bessemer Police are looking for a man suspected in a fatal shooting this afternoon. Deputy Chief Michael Roper said police responded to a call at 1702 Eighth Ave.
When they arrived, they found a man inside, dead from at least one gunshot wound to the chest.
His name has not been released.
"It was apparently an altercation with another male," Roper said. "The suspect is not in custody, but we do have a name. There were people in the house, and we did have witnesses."
