HUNTSVILLE, Al.
Police are investigating two burglaries in north Huntsville today.
At 10:40 a.m., a man said one of his friends and another person came to his apartment in the 4400 block of Myrtlewood Drive and demanded property that supposedly belonged to the friend.
The victim told police he was assaulted by the pair. He was transported by HEMSI to Huntsville Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Sometime before 6 a.m. today, a woman reported that someone entered her home in the 2900 block of Canada Street and took her cell phone and charger.
The woman told police she suspects her cousin, who she has caught inside the house on previous occasions, used a stolen key to get inside and swipe the cell phone.
No arrests have been made in either case.
