Police say one person was killed and 10 others were injured in gunfire at a Montgomery nightclub.
Montgomery police say 20-year-old DeSamuel Thomas was shot repeatedly and taken to Baptist Medical Center South, where he died shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday.10 other people were taken to local hospitals with injuries. Their wounds were described by police as not life-threatening.
The shootings happened at the Island Lounge on East South Boulevard.
Montgomery police Sgt. Regina Duckett said no charges had been filed as of Monday.
She said police were searching for up to two possible suspects in the shootings.
