Dothan Bed, Bath & Beyond thieves arrested
Daffiny Franklin, black female, 33 years of age, of Price Street was has now been arrested and charged with Second Degree Theft of Property and Keisha Franklin, black female, 24 years of age, of Ussery Street was previously arrested and charged with Second Degree Theft of Property. Each suspect had their bond set at $15,000.
On September 24, 2011 the Dothan Police Department responded to a theft of property call at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Upon arrival, employees stated two black females had stolen multiple comforter sets which were displayed outside for a sidewalk sale. Employees were able to record a tag number from the suspect vehicle which investigators used to identify a possible suspect, Keisha Franklin. Employees who witnessed the theft positively identified Franklin who was located and arrested last week. Investigators say they have now identified and arrested the second suspect, Daffiny Franklin and will now officially close this case.
