Two arrested for violations of the Notification Act

The Dothan Police Department actively monitors convicted sex offender to ensure compliance with the Notification Act. On February 9-10, 2012, investigators made contact with numerous offenders for compliance checks and made two arrests with three felony counts for violations. *Investigators say the following arrests are unrelated to one another but both resulted from last weeks compliance checks. 

Willie McDonald

 Willie McDonald, black male, 27 years of age, of East Lafayette Street was arrested and charged with two counts of Violation of Notification Act with a $20,000 bond after investigators learned he moved from his registered address last month and failed to register the location where he has since been residing and his current location violates specific guidelines pertaining to his specific case.

Jerry Lee Mack

 Jerry Lee Mack, black male, 45 years of age, of Adams Street was arrested and charged with Violation of Notification Act with a $10,000 bond after investigators learned he was operating a business at a  location violates specific guidelines pertaining to his specific case.
