On November 21, 2011 the Dothan Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Citgo Food Mart (1814 South Oates Street) just after 7:00 p.m. Upon arrival, police learned a single suspect armed with a semi-automatic handgun entered the business and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled on foot after being given U.S. Currency. The clerk described the suspect as a black male wearing a blue scarf around his head and face and blue latex gloves. Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.
