A stabbing incident with a pocket knife left a 16-year-old male injured Friday and an 18-year-old in jail on a 2nd-degree assault charge, Mobile police said.
Police spokesman Cpl. Christopher Levy said the incident took place about 12:45 p.m. in the 1700 block of Pake Avenue. He said that police were first alerted to a disorderly person with a knife.
Officers found the 16-year-old stabbed when they arrived at the house and found Thomas just outside, according to Levy. The victim's injury was not considered life threatening, Levy said.
Thomas remained in jail today on $3,000 bail, accordnig to records at Mobile County Metro Jail.
