MONTGOMERY, Al.
District 1 voters will head to the polls today (Tue.) in a run-off election for their Montgomery City Council representative.
The Aug. 23 general election left incumbent Jim Spear and challenger Richard Bollinger within 6.62 percent of each other.
Spear is finishing his second term on the council.
Seven polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Only those registered voters who live in District 1 can vote.
The polling places open for the run-off election are Flowers Elementary School, Goodwin Community Center, Auburn University at Montgomery, Eastdale Baptist Church, Highland Avenue Baptist Church, Wares Ferry Road School and Lakeview Baptist Church.
