David Brian Martin
MONTGOMERY, Al.
The Montgomery Police Department has arrested a local man in connection with two recent armed robberies.

According to police, 33-year-old David Brian Martin of Lamar Road was taken into custody this week on four counts of first-degree robbery and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility. His bonds total $420,000, according to a MPD news release.
The charges stem from an Oct. 25 armed robbery of a 76-year-old Honeysuckle Road resident, who was also assaulted outside of her home during the incident, and the Nov. 5 robbery of two teenagers and their mother in the Sturbridge neighborhood.
Martin was arrested on the most recent robbery on Monday. The charges on the Oct. 25 robbery were filed Tuesday.
