30th annual “Hog Wild 5K/15K” run to support the Alzheimer’s Resource Center to be held Saturday the 28th of January

The Dothan Runners Club, Dothan Fire Department, and Dothan Police Department will be hosting the 30th annual “Hog Wild 5K/15K” run to support the Alzheimer’s Resource Center. This event is scheduled for Saturday the 28th of January.  Last year’s Hog Wild was a huge success and proved to be Dothan’s largest road race to date with more than 500 runners!

Currently, there are approximately 35 million people stricken with Alzheimer’s.  The Alzheimer’s Resource Center of Dothan is a non-profit organization that provides research information, resources, and helps families find their way through the first steps of Alzheimer or dementia care giving.  This organization is an invaluable asset to our community.

We would like for you to be a part of our event and help support our local Alzheimer’s Resource Center.  Please come out and join us for the run on January 28th – 2pm at The Depot off Main (120 Museum Avenue)! If you have any questions regarding this event please contact Sergeant Rachel David at 615-3604.  If you would like more information concerning the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, contact Director Kay Jones at 334-702-CARE.

All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center.  Thank you in advance for your support and assistance with this worthwhile cause!

* Registration will begin at 1:00 p.m. Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure a timely start and souvenir long-sleeve tee-shirt or sweatshirt. To pre-register, visit: www.dothanrunners.com/
