Boaz Police are requesting the public's help finding a hit-and-run driver who injured two pedestrians Tuesday night.
Boaz Police Chief Terry Davis said that at about 9:15 p.m., two residents of Sundown Apartments in Boaz were struck by a vehicle while walking alongside Alabama 168 near the Mill Street Deli.
"It appears they were struck from behind by a dark-colored vehicle that immediately left the scene. We have no other description at this time," said Davis. The victims were taken to Marshall Medical Center South.
One of victims had serious injuries and was likely to be transferred to Huntsville Hospital today, Davis said.
Anyone who may have witnessed or has knowledge of the accident should call Investigators Scott Farish or Josh Gaskin at 256-593-6386.
