Teen stops kidnapper in Enterprise

ENTERPRISE, AL.
 Enterprise Police are searching for leads after a teenager reported to authorities that a man tried to kidnap her.
A 14-year-old girl told police that a man tried to grab her while she was walking home from Dauphin Junior High School, according to the Enterprise Police Department release.
Authorities say the incident occurred on Timberlake Drive in Enterprise around 3:25 p.m. The girl said as she was walking, a man driving a faded red Ford F-150 four door pick-up truck jumped out of his vehicle and grabbed her around her upper body. The girl struggled with the man and managed to hit him, free herself and run away.
She described the suspect as a stocky white male, approximately 5'9" weighing 210-220 pounds. He had black and gray hair described to be a "medium length." At the time of the incident he was wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie with white Nike tennis shoes. He wore glasses and is believed to be in his mid-30's or early 40's.
The truck was described as an older model faded red four-door F-150 with little to no chrome with the exception of the truck's wheels. The bed of the truck contained a ladder and several buckets.
