UPDATE: Barbour County Sheriff's Dept. searching for missing person

BARBOUR COUNTY, Al. 

 Barbour County Sheriff Leroy Upshaw has reported  there is a search for a missing Clio man on going in Barbour County. 27 year old Willie David Pugh, a black male, has not been seen since around 7:30 PM on Saturday evening and foul play is suspected.

Sheriff Upshaw said the information so far is very limited and they are not sure exactly what the situation is.Pugh's car has been found behind an abandoned house off Hwy. 51 South near Doster, Al. and that it is not like Pugh to not be in contact with his family.Barbour County Sheriff's Dept. has detained one person for questioning and are looking for another person of interest. They have requested air support assistance from Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and tracking dogs from Ventress Correctional Facility are also being used.
UPDATE:
Alabama State News learned Tue. nignt that some evidence has been located in a wooded area near Pugh's car and that bloody clothes belived to be his were found in the car.
 Lt. Morris stated that the Regional Land and Watch Search Team from Houston County and Sheriff Andy Hughes from Houston County Sheriff’s Office has offered their assistance and will be reporting to the Doster community on Wednesday. He has also requested assistance from that the Barbour County Search and Rescue team. They responded to the area on Tuesday. Also assisting in the search are members of the Elamville Fire Department, Clio Fire Department, Louisville Fire Department, Clayton Fire Department, Clio Police Department and the Alabama Bureau of Investigation, Dale County Sheriff’s Office, the tracking team from Ventress Prison, Barbour County EMA, as well as family members and friends of Pugh and citizens.
Sheriff Upshaw asks that any citizen who may want to assist in the search report to the Highway 51 South and Doster Road intersection and report to Morris.
Upshaw also asks that the public please continue to be or to become involved. Any information from the public will be investigated and the caller will remain anonymous.  Upshaw thanks the public for their willingness to get involved in the effort to locate Pugh.
