NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana
If you recognize the man in these photos, please call the New Orleans Police Department at (504) 658-5523. (New Orleans Police Department)
New Orleans police have issued a wanted poster on the man seen in a video simulating a sex act on an unconscious Louisiana State University fan. The  request for information the man seen in the video was comes one day after saying the police department said it  could investigate the apparent abuse of the LSU fan only if the man filed a complaint.
It asks the public to identify a white man dressed in an Alabama jacket and hat who is described as a person of interest in a sexual battery late Jan. 9 — the night Alabama beat LSU 21-0 in the BCS Championship football game in the Superdome.
However, Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas says police are still investigating whether there was a sexual assault.
The video has gone viral on the Internet. It ends with a man in a red Alabama jacket simulating a sex act on a man who is wearing an LSU T-shirt and who apparently had passed out on a restaurant counter.
