Authorities say a 26-year-old Franklin County man who was charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of his parents has been denied bond.
A press release states that Michael McLemore will remain behind bars after he was denied bond during a Monday court hearing in Franklin County.
McLemore has also been charged with assaulting an aunt and uncle with a hammer at a home near Phil Campbell in Franklin County.
Authorities have said the father's body was found in the home's hallway and the mother's body was found in bed.
Sheriff Shannon Oliver said McLemore was arrested after he walked to a neighbor's house to call 911.
