Tuscaloosa rock climber's death in Virginia ruled accident

AFTON, Va. — A National Park Service official says an Alabama rock climber's death on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia was an accident.
Ranger Steve Stinnett tells WVIR-TV that 21-year-old Jonathan Sullivan's rope webbing wasn't correctly secured.
The Tuscaloosa, Ala., man was rock climbing with friends at the Raven's Roost Overlook on June 15 when he fell about 100 feet.
