PHENIX CITY, AL
A woman was shot inside of a vehicle late Friday night at Idle Hour Park in Phenix City.
Ramona Fairwell, 38, was pronounced dead at the Columbus Medical Center just a little after 1 am Saturday morning.
A witness told police three men approached the vehicle and asked for directions. Then one of them put on a mask and drew a handgun, pointed it at Fairwell.
When she tried to drive away, the man fired shots into the car.
All three men then fled the scene.
No arrests have been made.
