Lee-spawned tornado's winds knock over trees; 1 home cut in half

MOBILE, Alabama  
Tropical Storm Lee spawned a tornado in southern Mobile County, with much of the damage reported near Pioneer and Fowl River roads.
One tree fell across a mobile home in the Bellfountaine community, cutting it in half. The home's residents were inside at the time, but were not injured.
Mobile County spokeswoman Nancy Johnson sad emergency crews responded to the tornado reports at 1 a.m. Sunday. She said there were downed trees and power lines, but no injuries were reported.
Tropical Storm Lee has prompted numerous tornado warnings in Mobile and Baldwin counties on Saturday and today.
