Mims
Craig Mims, 36, was taken to Mobile County Metro Jail and was held without bail tonight, according to jail records.
Levy said Mims is accused of gunpoint holdups at the Conoco gas station at 2781 Government Blvd. about 11:34 p.m. Monday and the Exxon station at 1725 Dauphin Island Parkway at 3:51 a.m. today.
In both instances, surveillance cameras showed a white vehicle, possibly an Isuzu Rodeo leaving the scene, Levy said.
A police detective spotted a Rodeo matching the description this afternoon and traced it to Mims, who was arrested about 6:30 p.m. at the Bird’s Nest Apartments on Pleasant Valley Road, Levy said.
