The Franklin County coroner says a 65-year-old woman severely injured in a house fire in Russellville has died.
Franklin County Coroner Elzie Malone said Tuesday that hospital officials have notified him of the death of Jimmie Mae Whitson.
Russellville Fire Marshal Capt. Steve Thornton says Whitson had been in the burn center since the fire on Saturday at her manufactured home.
Thornton says because Whitson's injuries were so severe, she was flown to UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
