AUBURN, Al.
A Columbus, Ga., man has been charged with sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old in connection with an incident that allegedly took place in Auburn in October, said Auburn Police Division Lt. Lorenza Dorsey.
Mario Roberto Urbina, 45, was arrested without incident at his Georgia home by officers from the Columbus Police Department on Nov. 23. Urbina’s arrest stems from a report that was filed on Oct. 25, which prompted an investigation, Dorsey said.

Mario Urbino faces charges of child sex abuse and  was booked into the Lee County detention facility Thursday, but posted a $50,000 bond and was released that same day, Capt. Van Jackson, Lee County Sheriff’s Office chief investigator said.
Urbino is a violin teacher and had been providing private lessons to students in the Auburn area. He is also a member of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
