On November 29, 2011 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent investigation. Police say a warrant was signed for Aaron Bateman following a felony assault which occurred on September 18, 2011. Investigators learned Bateman was at a social gathering at a residence in the 1100 block of Cynthia Drive when he engaged in a physical altercation with the victim, an adult male. Witnesses called 911 however the suspect fled prior to police arrival. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries which included a broken eye socket, broken jaw, broken nose, abrasions and a laceration.
