Yvonne Mohan, white female, 31 years of age, of Ashford, Alabama was arrested and charged with Second Degree Domestic Violence. Bond has not yet been set.
On December 31, 2011 the Dothan Police Department responded to a domestically motivated stabbing assault at Taj Café (520 North Oates) at 9:30 p.m. The victim, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital where he received treatment for a non-life threatening stab wound to the head. The victim told police his wife had followed him into the back area of the restaurant and was enraged after witnessing another female make what she believed was an advance toward him. The victim stated his wife was in possession of a kitchen knife which she used to stab him. The suspect was taken into custody by patrolmen at the scene of the domestic incident.
