Felix Thomas, black male, 44 years of age, of Summit Street was arrested and charged with First Degree Theft of Property with a $5,000 bond.
On December 30, 2011 the Dothan Police Department responded to a theft in progress in the 800 block of East Burdeshaw Street. Police say Felix Thomas was in the process of stealing a car by towing it out of a yard with his vehicle when police stopped the crime in progress. The suspect said he had talked to a man who said he knew who owned the vehicle and it was okay to take it, however the victim told investigators he had given no one permission to take his car.
