North Carolina man arrested in Auburn on warrant from Tennessee

AUBURN, Al.
A North Carolina man was arrested in Auburn on Thursday on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Tennessee.

According to the release from the Auburn Police Division, 49-year-old Alfred L. Wilson, of Charlotte, N.C., was arrested in the 2000 block of Bent Creek Road. Wilson had stopped to purchase gas while passing through the area.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office held outstanding indictments on Wilson for kidnapping and rape.
Wilson was taken to the Lee County Detention Center where he awaits an extradition hearing.
