Opp, Al.
An Opp man was arrested Tuesday after police allegedly found a “rolling meth lab” inside his vehicle.

“Although he works criminal investigations in Opp, Lt. Kyser continues to keep a keen eye out when it comes to narcotics,” Odom said. “Prior to the vehicle being towed, he conducted an inventory search and located numerous items used in making meth.
“Once DTF agents arrived, they recovered a smoke device which contained meth, as well as muratic acid, an amount of ephedrine, coffee filters and cold packs – all of which are used to manufacture methamphetamine.”
Davis was charged with second-degree manufacturing of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Covington County Jail and held under a $320,000 bond; however, he remains incarcerated without bond on a failure to appear warrant from Opp.
