Sylvester Bone, black male, 27 years of age, of South Lena Street was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with a $15,000 bond.
On January 4, 2011 the Dothan Police Department Narcotics Unit made a felony arrest following an ongoing investigation. Narcotic Officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of South Edgewood Drive. Upon entering the residence, officers could hear someone running to the rear of the residence. Officers pursued and observed the subject at the rear of the residence attempting to conceal contraband behind a pile of wood. Officers detained the subject and recovered an orange pill bottle that was behind the wood, the bottle contained two plastic bags of crack cocaine. Officers recovered approximately 4 grams of cocaine as a result of the investigation.
