Ozark man charged after forcing way into former girlfriends house

Johnathon Finch, white male, 30 years of age, of Ozark, Alabama was arrested and charged with First Degree Burglary with a $200,000 bond.

On November 2, 2011 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent investigation. The search for the suspect began immediately after police responded to a domestically motivated burglary on November 1, 2011. Investigators say the suspect, Johnathon Finch, confronted a former girlfriend at her home on North Alice Street. When the victim would not allow Finch into her home, he forced entry through the front door while the victim tried to hold the door closed. During the struggle, the victim had her finger slammed violently in the door amputating the finger. The suspect fled from the scene and the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
