Police arrested a woman Monday afternoon on a robbery charge after police said she hit a Walmart employee trying to stop her from taking items from the store, police from the west precinct said.Mary Greer, 50, was arrested after the incident at Walmart at 6140-A University Drive at about 3:30 p.m., police said.
A store employee told police that an employee tried to stop Greer from leaving the store with items for which she didn't pay. The woman hit the employee when he tried to stop her. The woman ran away, but police found her nearby and arrested her.
