The Dothan Police Department responded to a report of a critical firearm assault at the G Spot (908 Columbia Highway) just after 1:00 a.m. this morning(11-3-11). Upon arrival, officers found the victim who had not been shot, but was suffering from a serious laceration instead. Police learned the victim was hit in the head with a beer bottle in the area of the ear. The bottle broke and the jagged edge cut the victims neck. The victim is currently in stable condition at a local hospital where his injury has been described as a moderate injury which will require surgery. Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.
