Willie Charles Dickens, black male, 50 years of age, of East Newton Street was arrested and charged with First Degree Theft of Property with a $5,000 bond.
On December 13, 2011 the Dothan Police Department responded to a vehicle theft in progress in the 400 block of Railroad Avenue. The victim stated he pulled into a residence on Railroad Avenue and left his truck running while he went briefly into the residence. He stated while inside he heard the truck door shut so he ran outside and saw a male backing the truck out of the driveway. The victim said he was able to run and jump into the truck with the suspect who he detained until police arrived.
