Odom was released later in the day from the Baldwin County Corrections Center after posting $1,000 bail, according to jail records. Odom formerly played for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals. He was a star lineman at Alma Bryant High School and the University of Alabama.
Odom was shot in the leg early in the morning of Aug. 22 at his home in Irvington, according to police records. A longtime friend, Tony Gildersleeve, was charged in connection with the incident.
