22 suspected meth makers, distributors indicted in Mobile County

MOBILE, Al.
Nearly 2 dozen "known meth manufacturers and distributors" have been indicted in as a result of an undercover operation conducted by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, spokeswoman Lori Myles said in a news release this morning.
The investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine and other controlled substances resulted in state and federal indictments and began in January 2011, Myles said.
The Sheriff's Office considers trafficking in methamphetamine an extreme danger to the community and this operation will remain active and ongoing with more indictments and arrests expected in the near future, said Myles.
The "Meth Initiative," the statement said, designed by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, targets meth users and manufacturers through three focus areas: enforcement, compliance and education.
The suspects listed below were indicted on multiple counts of distribution of methamphetamine and other controlled substances, according to the Sheriff's Office. Further details are not available at this time.
