Four arrested after stolen car found; 10 more detained

MOBILE, Al.
Mobile police arrested 4 people in the 1600 block of Phillips Lane on Monday afternoon after discovering a stolen car, according police spokesman Cpl. Christopher Levy.
Two of the 4 were arrested in connection with a burglary reported in the 1800 block of Rachel Court on Monday morning, Levy said. They were Leonard Cox and Travontia Williams, each charged with 2nd-degree burglary.
Trayon Washington was charged with 2 counts of receiving stolen property and possession of cocaine. Tyneil Thomas was charged with possession of cocaine.
Levy said officers ran a check on a suspicious vehicle on Phillips Lane and found it had been reported stolen in Prichard. While on the scene, they observed several people running away. A total of 14 were detained.
More charges could be filed, Levy said.
