Burglary suspects break in, burglarize a local pharmacy in a matter of minutes

CULLMAN, Al.
Investigators with Cullman Police Department are searching for three individuals who burglarized a local pharmacy.

The burglary occurred late Thursday night at approximately midnight when three individuals driving a white Chevrolet Tahoe broke into the Cullman Discount Pharmacy on U.S. 31 South. Various prescription medication was stolen.

A nearby surveillance camera captured video footage of the crime, which has been provided to investigators with Cullman PD.

Investigators said two of the suspects are black males. They believe the third individual is a black female.

"They were in and out of the pharmacy in a matter of minutes," said Lt. Gene Bates, an investigator with Cullman PD. "It took them a little more than three minutes to break in and clean what they wanted off the shelves.

"We're following up on a lead that we've generated, but we haven't identified any suspects, yet."

The drive-through at Burger King — located across the highway — was still open at the time of the burglary. The video footage also shows cars driving down the highway while the burglary is taking place.

"If anyone knows anything or has any information about this crime, they should contact the investigation division at Cullman Police Department," Bates said. "Any help with this case would be appreciated."
