Tea Party conservatives are planning a rally in support of Alabama's new law against illegal immigration.

U.S. District Judge Sharon Blackburn of Birmingham has put the law on hold until she decides whether it's constitutional. Supporters of the law say states should have the right to crack down on illegal immigration because the federal government isn't doing enough.
Among other things, the law makes it a crime to knowingly hire or assist an illegal immigrant.
