Tuscaloosa police on foot patrol on East University Boulevard arrested two suspects at 1 p.m. Sunday and recovered a car believed stolen from Florida.
Police say 40-year-old David Ulysses Bryant was arrested on outstanding warrants with the Tuscaloosa Police Department that accuse him of driving with a revoked license.
The vehicle in Ellington's possession was reported stolen in Florida, police said. He was charged with obstructing justice by giving a false identity and second-degree receiving stolen property. He is in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
