The Montgomery Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a Friday night shooting near Cramton Bowl that left a 19-year-old in critical condition.
Frederick Williams, 18, of 814 Cloverhill Drive was arrested and charged with assault first degree and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility with a $20,000 bond, according to a release from the MPD.About 10 p.m. Friday, police responded to Madison Avenue and Hilliard Street after hearing gunfire. They found a 19-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Jackson Hospital, where he was still in critical condition Saturday evening.
Information gathered at the scene led to the arrest of Williams, who was located in the 300 block of N. Ripley St., the release states. His photograph is being withheld due to the ongoing investigation.
