Mobile police investigate fatal shooting on Brazier Drive

MOBILE, Al.
Mobile police are investigating an early-morning shooting that claimed the life of a 24-year-old man who authorities say forced his way into a home.
About 12:45 a.m. today, police responding to the 400 block of Brazier Drive on a report of one shot found Marion Antwan Miller suffering from a gunshot wound to the right leg, according to spokesman Cpl. Christopher Levy.
Mobile Fire-Rescue transported Miller to the University of South Alabama Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries, Levy said.
Detectives determined that Miller was involving in an ongoing dispute with a man, and Miller had forced his way into the man’s residence. The man produced a handgun and shot Miller in the leg.
The investigation was continuing this evening, Levy said.
