MONTGOMERY, Al.
Nine students, one male and eight females, were arrested Wednesday afternoon after a fight broke out at Capitol Heights Junior High School.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, law enforcement was called shortly before the last bell rang for the day to provide assistance after the fight broke out inside the school.
The students were all arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, police say.
Two students sustained minor injuries, one of whom was transported to the hospital from the school with a laceration injury. The other injured party was taken by her mother to be checked out.
