Dothan Police make felony arrest in a sexual torture case

Robert Mote, white male, 30 years of age, of Montgomery Highway was arrested and charged with Sexual Torture with a $160,000 bond.

On October 10, 2011 the Dothan Police Department Investigative Division made a felony arrest in a sexual torture case. Due to the sensitive nature of the case, limited details are being released however investigators did say the crime was committed against an adult female at a local hotel in Dothan on October 10, 2011. Investigators arrested the suspect, Robert Mote yesterday and obtained the warrant and bond earlier today and will now close the investigation.
