Slain officer honored in Anniston, Ala.

ANNISTON, Ala. (AP)
Anniston police officers lined the center aisle of Harvest Church of God, hands clasped behind their backs and shoulders straight as the casket containing the body of fellow officer Justin Sollohub passed between them.
After three years with the Anniston Police Department, Sollohub was shot Wednesday while on routine patrol. The Jacksonville State University graduate died Thursday when UAB medical personnel took him off life support.
Lt. Wayne Willis stood outside the church with a group of policemen on Sunday. The Anniston Star reports he said the visitation was an example of community appreciation for the department in the aftermath of Sollohub's death.
Joshua Russell, who is charged with capital murder in the case, was captured Wednesday after a manhunt. He remains in custody at the Etowah County Jail.
