Mobile police seek help finding 'person of interest' in Maison deVille robbery

MOBILE, Alabama -- Mobile police needs the public's help to identify a person of interest in a burglary that occurred Tuesday evening at Maison deVille apartments, officials said today in a news release.
Mobile police would like to question the person shown in the accompanying photos. Police said they do not know if this person was involved in the crime, but do believe he was in the area and may be a potential witness.
The burglary occurred about 9 p.m. Tuesday at the apartment complex on Berwyn Drive. A man knocked on the door and when a female resident answered, the burglar forced his way in, police said. The burglar assaulted the woman, taking money and property, police said. The victim was treated and released from a local hospital, officials said.
