An anonymous call to the Mobile County Sheriff's Office led to the arrest of 3 people on charges related to methamphetamine production, officials said today in a news release.
Katrina Parker and Shawn Clay, and Lisa Glover were arrested and charged with manufacturing meth, officials said.
Deputies discovered a partial meth lab in the master bedroom, officials said. A "shake and bake" lab was found underneath the trailer and had been cooking for about an hour while deputies were inside the trailer, officials said.
“This could have been a very dangerous situation and could have ended with someone, if not everyone, being killed in an explosion”, Sheriff Sam Cochran said in a statement. “Our deputies, because of their experience and training, were able to prevent a potentially bad situation before it happened.
Deputies said that when they first arrived at the scene, a man had been sleeping on the porch, but when he saw deputies, he ran, leaving his pants and boots behind, officials said.
If you are suspicious that a methamphetamine lab is operating near your home, you can report it by texting the word "meth" to 839863 (“textme”) or call 251-574-8633.
