Juveniles arrested in Tuscaloosa burglary (crime reports)

TUSCALOOSA, Al. 
Police arrested two juveniles after a resident in the 100 block of Bellview Drive reported a forced entry.
The victim told police the suspects walked away from his door when they heard his dog bark.
Officers took two juveniles into custody and located a Kindle, assorted DVD movies, VHS, cell phone, remote control and assorted costume jewelry. The items were determined to have been taken from a nearby residence between the hours of 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday.

The suspects were charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree attempted burglary.

  • Other crimes include a reported robbery in the 100 Block of James I. Harrison Parkway at 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday. The victim told police that a person walked up to his vehicle in a parking lot and demanded money. A wallet, credit/debit card(s) and a cell phone were taken from the man after a struggle. There are no suspects or witnesses.
  • A 14-foot utility trailer, a diesel Ford tractor and a Craftsman riding mower were taken from a parking lot in the 1300 Block of Whigham Place between 3  p.m. on Sept. 16 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 23. There are no suspects or witnesses.
